Progressors

Term-time skateboarding courses for skaters ready to take things to the next level.

These sessions are designed to help children progress their skills at both our pop-up skatepark and local public parks.

Our experienced coaches provide guidance and support every step of the way, helping skaters grow in confidence and ability.

All equipment is included — skateboards and full protective gear provided.

Why us?

Quality Coaching: Our team of qualified coaches loves skateboarding and is passionate about sharing their skills and knowledge with the children on our courses. Sessions are student-centred and focus on building confidence on and off the board.

Safe and Secure: Skateboarding has risks, and your child’s safety is our top priority. Our coaches hold valid DBS checks, are fully insured and are first-aid trained.

Indoor Mobile Skatepark: Come rain or shine, the kids that come to our classes will be able to make the most of our pop-up skatepark.

Free parking is also available on-site.

COURSE CONTENT

  • Sessions for children aged 8-13 who want to take their skating to the next level.
  • Practise what they know, learn more complex tricks and skate with others of a similar level.
  • Make the most of our coach’s expertise to perfect the tricks they’re learning.
  • A weekly focus on a skill, trick or use of an obstacle with different levels of challenge to ensure everyone is progressing.
  • Covering things like grinds, ollies, rock to fakies/rock ‘n’ rolls, shuv-its, an intro to kickflips, kicker ramps, axle stalls and dropping off ledges.

Priority booking is given to current participants. If you’re currently on a course then you will receive an email confirming your place towards the end of your current course.

If you’re not a current participant and can’t find a space then join the waiting list. A space may become available in the weeks leading up to the course.

Progressors @ Hove Lagoon (Small groups)

Join our summer skatepark sessions for progressors at the state-of-the-art Hove Lagoon Skatepark.

If your child has already mastered the basics — like kick turns, dropping in, rock to fakies, and ride-on grinds — they’re ready to take their skills to the next level. Under the expert guidance of Skateboard GB qualified coach Harry Bidwell, and within a small, supportive group, they’ll work on learning advanced tricks and building their confidence on the board.

One-and-a-half-hour sessions with small groups of up to five guarantee individual attention and support.

Let me know if you’ve got any questions and I’ll get back to you.
