Skate before school
Start the school day with skateboarding, breakfast and school drop-off taken care of.
Breakfast Skate Club starts from 8:00am at our indoor skatepark at the British Engineerium in Hove and includes school drop-off.
Children get time to skate with our coaches, have toast for breakfast, and are then taken to either Aldrington CE Primary School or Brighton & Hove Bilingual Primary School at the appropriate time for the start of the school day.
Approximately £12.50 per session

A better start to the school day
Breakfast Skate Club gives children an active and enjoyable start to the morning while making the school run a little easier for parents.
Parents can drop their child off with us from 8:00am. Children spend the morning skating at our indoor skatepark with The Skate Club coaches, have breakfast, and are then taken directly to school at the appropriate time.
Breakfast Skate Club includes:
- Drop-off with us from 8:00am
- Skateboarding with The Skate Club coaches
- Toast for breakfast
- School drop-off
- Skateboards, helmets and pads
- Indoor skateboarding at the British Engineerium
- Places for children aged 5+
Children are also welcome to bring their own skateboard, helmet and pads if they prefer.
School drop-off included
After skating and breakfast, we take children directly to one of our participating primary schools.
Aldrington CE Primary School & Bilingual Primary School
Children attending Aldrington Primary School will be dropped off by 8:50am while those attending Bilingual Primary School will be dropped off by 9:00am.
Parents simply drop their child off with us at the skatepark from 8:00am and we take care of the rest.
Suitable for beginners and experienced skaters
Children aged 5 and over can attend Breakfast Skate Club.
They do not need any previous skateboarding experience.
Our coaches can help complete beginners get started while also giving more experienced skaters plenty to work on during the morning.
All equipment is provided, including skateboards, helmets and pads, although children are welcome to bring their own.
Breakfast included
Toast is provided for breakfast as part of every session.
Children will have time to skate and eat breakfast before leaving with our team for school.
Breakfast Skate Club costs approximately £12.50 per session.
Places are booked for the whole school term rather than as individual dates, so the total price will depend on how many sessions fall on your chosen weekday during that term.
You can book more than one weekday if you would like your child to attend Breakfast Skate Club several mornings each week.

How booking works
Breakfast Skate Club is booked by term.
When you choose a weekday, you are booking your child’s place for that weekday every week for the remainder of the school term.
For example, if you book Tuesdays, your child will attend Breakfast Skate Club every Tuesday during term time.
You can also book several weekdays if you would like them to attend more frequently.
Joining after the term has started
You can still join after the beginning of term if spaces are available.
The price will automatically be charged pro rata, so you only pay for the remaining sessions in that term.
Breakfast Skate Club cannot currently be booked as individual one-off sessions.
INSET Days
Because the two schools have different INSET day schedules, your child may still be booked into Breakfast Skate Club on a day when their school is closed.
If you would prefer them not to attend on their school’s INSET day, just let us know and we can refund that session.
Unfortunately, we’re not able to refund other sessions your child is unable to attend.
