Home Ed Skate Club

Our mixed ability skateboarding club for home educated young people aged 6 to 16.

In our club, your children will learn how to skateboard at our indoor skatepark, designed to help them develop their skills and confidence in a real skatepark environment.

Experienced coaches will be right there, guiding your child every step of the way.

Use of skateboards and protective equipment is all included.

Why us?

Quality Coaching: Our team of qualified coaches loves skateboarding and is passionate about sharing their skills and knowledge with the children on our courses. Sessions are student-centred and focus on building confidence on and off the board.

Safe and Secure: Skateboarding has risks, and your child’s safety is our top priority. Our coaches hold valid DBS checks, are fully insured and first-aid trained.

Course Content

The mixed-ability club content will cater specifically to the varying levels of the attendees. Whether they have never stood on a skateboard or want to lock in some tricks, our coaches will be able to help.

  • Learn the very basics of how to skate, like standing on a skateboard, pushing and turning.
  • Beginners will learn some basic tricks, and those with experience will learn more complex manoeuvres.
  • Gain confidence in themselves, learn about balanced risk-taking and the importance of patience and perseverance.
  • Learn to use public skateparks with the guidance of qualified coaches.
