What better way to celebrate a special day than learning to skate with your mates?!

Make the most of the pop-up park with the helping hand of experienced skate coaches and make sure it’s a day to remember.

The format of the parties is flexible depending on the abilities and preferences of the group. They generally include a beginner lesson so that all participants can push, stop and turn safely; skateboarding games and an introduction to ramps.

We aim to ensure that everyone attending will enjoy skateboarding safely while having fun. Those who can already skate will have to be patient while we get the others up to speed. A maximum of 14 children can attend.

Tables and chairs can also be provided so the skaters can take a break for food and drink. A speaker is available for music to be played and you’re welcome to decorate the hall.

Parties are hosted on a mobile skatepark in the sports hall at Loxdale English Centre in Portslade.

FAQ

How many kids can join?

Up to 14 children can attend. This helps us keep things safe, fun and well-supported with two experienced coaches on hand.

Do the kids need to have skated before?

Not at all. Most party guests are total beginners. We make sure everyone learns the essential skills to take part in skating games and have fun.

What does the price include?

You get 1.5 hours at our pop-up skatepark. This includes two coaches, equipment (boards, helmets, pads), music, tables and chairs for food, and space to decorate. You may want to spend 15/20 minutes of this time eating and blowing out candles.

Can we bring food and cake?

Yes! There are no cooking facilities on-site, but you’re welcome to bring food or have it delivered. We’ve got tables, chairs and a speaker for music too.

Is it just skateboarding?

Yes, we focus purely on skateboarding. Scooters, bikes and rollerblades aren’t permitted in the space.
