The Skate Club provides fun, structured and welcoming skateboarding sessions for groups of all sizes. Whether your group is completely new to skateboarding or already has some experience, our trained coaches will help everyone get moving, build confidence and learn something new.
All skateboards, helmets and pads are provided, so there is no need for anyone to bring their own equipment.
What We Do
We run group skateboarding sessions for children, teenagers and adults. Sessions can be tailored to suit your group’s age range, ability level, confidence and setting.
A typical group session can include:

Where Group Bookings Can Take Place
At Our Skatepark in Hove
Groups can come to our own venue in Hove for a private or semi-private skateboarding session in a purpose-built skatepark environment.
This is a great option for smaller groups, youth organisations, home education groups, private groups and anyone who wants a skatepark experience with trained coaches on hand.
At Your School Playground
If you are a school, we can come to your playground and run a structured skateboarding session during the school day, as part of an enrichment programme, activity day, wellbeing day, reward day or school event.
We bring the skateboards, helmets, pads and coaching team. All we need is a suitable flat space.
At an External Facility
We can also run group sessions at leisure centres, sports halls, outdoor courts, playgrounds and other suitable spaces.
If you would like us to help arrange a venue, we can talk through suitable options with you and advise on what kind of space works best for skateboarding.
Add a Creative Workshop
As well as skateboarding, we can include arts and crafts activities as part of your group booking.
Our most popular option is a street art workshop with a local graffiti artist. This works especially well alongside skateboarding, as one group can take part in street art while another group skates, then the groups swap over.
At our own facility, we can run street art workshops for groups of up to 14.
For larger external bookings, we can also include arts and crafts activities, skate-related creative activities or street art-style workshops, depending on the venue, group size and age range.

Small Group Bookings
Perfect for private groups, youth groups, home education groups and organisations that want a more focused coaching experience.
Rotating Activity Groups
For mixed activity bookings, one group can skateboard while another takes part in street art, arts and crafts, or a skate-related creative workshop. The groups can then swap over.
This works especially well for schools, holiday activity providers, community groups and larger youth groups.
Large External Bookings
At suitable external facilities, we can run skateboarding sessions for groups of up to 50 participants at any one time.
For larger groups, we will recommend a structure that keeps the session safe, organised and engaging. This may include splitting the group into rotations, combining skateboarding with creative activities, or running multiple coached zones.
Safe, Structured and Fully Equipped
All equipment is provided, including skateboards, helmets and pads.
Our sessions are run by trained coaches who are experienced in working with children, young people and beginners. Our team members are safeguarding trained and DBS checked.
We make sure sessions are structured, safe and welcoming, especially for those who might feel nervous about trying skateboarding for the first time.

Cost
Group bookings start from £11.25 per person, per hour.
Every booking is slightly different, so we usually provide a quote once we know more about your group, location, preferred activities, number of participants and session length.
Final pricing may depend on group size, staffing, venue hire, travel, session length and whether you would like to include a creative workshop.
